Men may put up a stern-macho exterior, but they like taking care of their skin and sometimes it can be a daunting experience. So, here are some skin care tips for men.

Keep your skin clean
To help you get a clean shaven look and prevent acne and pimples, it is important to have clean skin. So, wash your face at night to get rid of the excess oil and dust that you may pick up during the day. This will help you with get a clean shave and avoid cuts.

Exfoliation is a great way to achieve glowing skin. This process gets rid of dead cells and improves circulation. Exfoliate everyday to enhance the radiance of your skin.

It's important to moisturise, but excess moisturiser can lead to skin problems, due to clogged pores. Try using a light moisturiser after a shave and before going to bed. This helps to prevent irritation of the skin.

When you have more than four-five pimples, it is acne. This skin condition is prevalent amongst teenagers, but a lot of adults also suffer from acne as well. Avoid products that trigger acne, follow a balanced diet to reduce the inflammation of the skin, chew your food properly and avoid oily, spicy and pungent food. Also, drink a lot of liquids.

Dry skin
Rejuvenate dry skin by hydrating it. Dry skin may be caused by environmental changes, age, genetics and temperature. Drink water, apply moisturiser and exfoliate your skin, these are the basic steps to fight dry skin.

Oily skin
Hormonal changes, stress, environment and genetics are the reason for oily skin. Wash your face with a mild skin cleanser, avoid oily food, avoid using soaps, especially strong soaps on the face and drink plenty of water.

Blackheads are a precursor to acne as they attract bacteria, dead cells and oil. Blackheads are triggered by hormones and appear on the nose, forehead and cheekbones. Clean the skin regularly with a good facewash and avoid spending too much of time in the sun. Use nose strips to get rid of the blackheads.

Visible holes on the skin and around the nose are known as open pores. It is important to maintain the hygiene of the skin to prevent acne and skin infection. Drink water, exfoliate your skin and apply a light moisturiser to get rid of open pores. Clean pores are less visible.

Men can also get flawless skin and get rid of wrinkles. Wrinkles are prominent on the forehead, the corner of the eyes and the mouth. Over exposure to the sun causes wrinkles, but plenty of sleep, the right posture, a good face wash, an antioxidant rich diet and Omega-3s can reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Shaving tips
You may get a closer shave, while shaving against the hair growth but this can cause inflammation as it irritates the hair and can damage the skin. So, it is important to shave in the direction of the hair growth.

Don't shave dry
Dry skin causes friction and results in irritation of the skin, cuts, ingrown hair and acne. Lather the shaving cream with water to get a clean shave and avoid skin problems. It is advisable to shave after a shower for better results, as the hair and the skin are supple.

Select the right razor
To avoid irritation of the skin, do not apply too much pressure on the skin while shaving. It is also important to change the blades regularly, to avoid bacterial growth.

Drink Coconut Water for Glowing skin

Got dull, lifeless skin? While skin texture is mostly hereditary, there is a lot you can do to improve it.

The effect of diet is seriously underestimated in beauty care. While consumption of fruits and fruit juices is said to be good for the skin, it is best to avoid oily and masala rich foods. While orange juice has been voted the best for skin, not many are aware of the benefits of coconut water when it comes to skin care.

The liquid, considered the purest one after water, hydrates the skin, making it look more youthful and supple. Studies say that the antioxidants and cytokinins present in coconut water have an age defying effect on skin. The nutritious value of the drink has always been acknowledged. How to get rid of pimple marks

Keep your skin clear of any make-up and wash your face with water as many times as possible to get rid of pimples.

And never pop the pimples as these would lead to scars. Pimple marks are the scars that result after an acne breakout. They are often difficult to remove and take time to fade. There are commercial and homemade treatment options available. Surface skin blemishes can often be removed by these methods. Sandalwood powder paste can be applied on your face to fade marks.

Honey is also good for fading marks. Apply a small amount of honey on the marks daily. Rinse with water after about five minutes.

A milk and oatmeal face mask can also be used to remove scars. Apply the mixture for about ten minutes and then rinse.

An egg white face mask can also be used to fade marks. Apply only the egg white carefully onto your face. Allow the egg white to dry and rinse with water.

Make-up expert Aniruddha Chakladar says, "Neem paste mixed with sandalwood powder is the best way to get rid of pimple scar mark."

Drink, apply citrus fruits for natural glow

Bright coloured citrus fruits like orange, lemon and lime can make your skin glow.

Bollywood beauty and makeup expert Puja Taluja reveals how these Vitamin C rich fruits, known for their antioxidant properties, work well for your skin.

Lime juice: Take a lime, squeeze it and add it to a glass of warm water with honey in it. Take a spoon and mix the contents well. Drink it every morning before breakfast.

Lemon: Get glowing skin by simply rubbing a peeled lemon on your skin. But, don't do it for long and be gentle while doing so. It shouldn't be done longer than three minutes. Then wash it off with water.

Orange: After eating the fruit, do not throw the skin. It can be used on your face. Dry the peels and grind them. Use the powder with water on your skin. This works as a natural scrub.

DIY body scrub for super smooth skin

This make-at-home scrub will leave your skin soft and smooth instantly and it can be used on body as well a face.

It's ideal for rough spots like feet, knee, elbow, even cuticles. Those who have acne problems must try this scrub; it does wonders. This easy-to-make lemon and sugar exfoliate leaves the skin soft and insanely smooth. To make this scrub, you need, half fresh lemon, half cup granular sugar, one tablespoon olive oil and one tablespoon organic honey.

Add lemon juice and olive oil in a bowl and mix. Add honey and mix till the ingredients blend together into a thicker consistency. You can adjust the consistency by either adding honey to thicken, or by adding olive oil to thin the mixture. Now, add the sugar and mix. You can add more sugar to make the scrub more intense. When you use as a bodyscrub, pay close attention to your knees, elbows and feet, and rub in circular motions with your hand or with an exfoliating glove to eliminate the dead skin.

Finally, rinse, lather in moisturiser, and enjoy your newly soft skin.

After long time of study I found 10 best thing that helps you to make your skin tone lightning.
1. Increase fruits intake like blackberry, orange, mango,e.t.c.,
2. Take 1glass of lemon in morning as you wake up in warm water(do not take hot water)
3. Use Scrubing,face massage and face pack once a week only.
4. Use sunscream above 30 Spf (every time you go out of house)
5. Wash your face with cold water everytime you come from out side
6. Wash face 2twice a day only.
7. Do not use bleaching until you have to attend party prefer to avoid bleaching
8. Do not touch your face again and again, avoid touching your face with dirty hands and handkerchief.
9. Drink lot of water more than 7-8liter of water.
10. Last but not the least sleep properly approx 8hrs. Its very important to sleep properly.
